Primax Consulting Limited (“we”, “us”) runs primaxjm.com. This page explains what personal information the website collects, why, who handles it, and how to contact us about it.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name and email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, business name, the service you are interested in and your message.
• Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
• Primax Academy waitlist: your name and email address, your consent, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, business name, topics of interest and how you heard about us.

The website does not use analytics or advertising tools, and does not set cookies of its own. Our free calculators work entirely in your browser: the figures you type into them are not sent to us.

How we use it

We use what you send us only to reply to your enquiry, to send the newsletter you asked for, or to tell you about Primax Academy. We do not sell or rent your information.

Where it goes

When you send a form, the website checks it and passes it straight on as an email to contact@primaxjm.com. The website does not keep a copy. Our email is provided by Google Workspace, so your message is held by Google on our behalf.

If your enquiry does not lead to you becoming a client, we delete it 12 months after we were last in touch. If you become a client, your enquiry is kept with your client records. Newsletter and waitlist addresses are kept until you ask us to remove them.

Other services the website uses

• Cloudflare hosts the website and protects it from attacks. Like any web host, it handles your internet address when you visit.
• Google Fonts supplies the website’s typefaces, so Google receives your internet address when a page loads.
• Google Maps shows the map on the Contact page and may set its own cookies.
• Affiliate links: some articles link to products we may earn a commission on. If you click one, that company may set its own cookies. See our affiliate disclosure.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it or stop contacting you. Email contact@primaxjm.com and we will reply within one business day.

These rights are set out in Jamaica’s Data Protection Act, 2020. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Office of the Information Commissioner.
